Visual Presentation Resources

Media Services has equipment available for checkout if you need to give a visual presentation in a space that does not already have a projector or screen.  We have several checkout projectors available and various sizes of checkout screens ranging from 5' to 8'.

Visual presentation media equipment available for checkout:

• Projectors
• Portable Screens
• Cables to connect computer to projector

Basic Directions for operating a projector.

• Plug projector into power outlet.
• Connect device to projector such as PC, laptop, DVD player etc. using appropriate input (VGA, HDMI, Video).
• Turn on power to projector.  Projector needs time to warm up, it will take a minute for it to be ready to display.
• Select appropriate source to display device you are using.
• If you are using a PC or laptop and there is no image try pressing the "Windows" button and the "P" button on your keyboard, then select "duplicate" when the pop up box appears.
