Top 5 things you need to know or do before you come to campus!

1) Set up DUO Mobile (/wiki/spaces/ITKB/pages/1671241) - A multifactor authentication tool put in place to protect your data.

2) Take a tour of my.millikin.edu - myMillikin is your central hub for accessing applications and important information. After logging into my.millikin.edu, search for "Tour" and click on the "Tour the new myMILLIKIN"

3) Register for Classes - You will register for classes every semester. The process is easy; just follow these instructions  (https://millikin.edu/academics/registrars-office/academic-advising/online-advising/instructions-online-registration)

4) Download a copy of Microsoft O365 on your personal computer or device (Go to https://portal.office.com) - Microsoft O365 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more and is FREE to students.  You can download up to 5 instances on personal devices. You will need to log in with your Millikin email address and password to download Microsoft O365.

5) Validate (Validation) - Validation is a chance to update your contact and emergency contact information. You will have to validate every semester.

After you arrive this Fall...

1) If you purchased a new phone after registering for DUO Mobile, you may need to Reactivate (/wiki/spaces/ITKB/pages/1671235)

2) Put your Millikin Email on your iPhone (O365 Email - iPhone/iPad Setup Instructions)

3) Connect to the Wi-Fi at Millikin (Connecting to Wireless)

4) If you have Wi-Fi on Campus or the Woods (WiFi Troubleshooting) (The Woods WiFi)

5) Printing on Campus (Printer Set-Up / Authorizing Print Jobs)
