How to print to a general access printer on a Mac

General access printers require authentication to print. This guide will show you how to authorize a print job on a Mac.

Requirements

  • Version Mac OS 10.7 and higher

How-to

  1. Print your document and be sure to select one of the general access printers

  2. Click on the printer icon in the dock

  3. Select the reload looking button from print job screen

  4. Enter your myMILLIKIN username and password and click OK. If you don't want to have to keep entering your username and password every time you print you can select the checkbox next to Remember this password in my keychain

  5. Authorize your print job from myMILLIKIN to complete the printing process. How to authorize print jobs is located here.
