titleiPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch Devices:
  1. From your Device’s Home Screen, go Navigate to Settings > and then Wi-Fi.

  2. Turn on the Wi-Fi Service (if it is not already turned on).

    • Your device should automatically search for available nearby Wi-Fi Networks.

  3. Locate and select the Wi-Fi Network you want to connect to:

    • MU-RESNET: use this Wi-Fi Network if you are a Student

    • MU-ADMIN: use this Wi-Fi Network if you are a Faculty or Staff Member

  4. When prompted, enter your myMILLIKIN Username and Password, and select the Connect or Continue button(s) as needed.

  5. You may be prompted to view and trust the Wi-Fi Network’s Certificate. Select the “Trust” Button button to continue connecting to the Wi-Fi Network.

  6. After you connect to the Wi-Fi Network, you should see a blue checkmark next to the network and the connected Wi-Fi icon in the upper-right corner of your display.

Each Android Device Manufacturer (Google, Samsung, etc.) often customizes the layout and navigation to the Device’s core Android Operating System experience.

The device navigation and setting names may differ slightly in from what is directed within this guide.

  1. From your Device’s Home Screen, navigate to the Settings Menu and find your device’s Wi-Fi / Networking Settings.

  2. Turn on the Wi-Fi Service (if it is not already turned on).

    1. Your device should automatically search for available nearby Wi-Fi Networks.

  3. Locate and select the Wi-Fi Network you want to connect to:

    1. MU-RESNET: use this Wi-Fi Network if you are a Student

    2. MU-ADMIN: use this Wi-Fi Network if you are a Faculty or Staff Member

  4. When prompted, enter your myMILLIKIN Username and Password, and select the Connect or Continue button(s) as needed.

  5. You may be prompted to view and trust the Wi-Fi Network’s Certificate. Select the “Trust” Button On an Android Device, you will typically see a list of connection settings - Make sure to set the settings as the following:

    1. EAP Method: Set this setting to PEAP

    2. Phase 2 Authentication: Set this setting to MSCHAPv2

    3. CA Certificate: Set this setting to Use System Certificates

      1. Online Certificate Status: Set this setting to Do Not Verify

      2. Domain (Required): Enter millikin.edu into this field

    4. Identity: Enter your myMILLIKIN Username

    5. Anonymous Identity: Leave this field empty

    6. Password: Enter your myMILLIKIN Password

    7. Advanced / Additional Settings:

      1. Proxy: This setting should be set to None by default

      2. IP Settings: This setting should be set to DHCP by default

      3. Privacy: This setting should be set to Use Random MAC Address by default

      4. Metered: This setting should be set to Detect Automatically by default

  6. Once you have selected and input the required information as directed above, Select the “Save” button to continue connecting to the Wi-Fi Network.

  7. After you connect to the Wi-Fi Network, you should see a blue checkmark next to the network the connection status information listed and the connected Wi-Fi icon in the upper-right corner of your display.
