Millikin's public access printers can be installed on students' computers to print papers from your dorm room.

To add a network printer on Windows
- Right-click on the Windows

Make sure to use backslashes \ instead of forward slashes /. It really does make a difference! |

That's it! The printer will now appear on your computer as an option any time you go to the Print dialog.

You will need to authorize your print jobs as usual when printing to Millikin's printers. |
- logo on the bottom right and go to Control Panel
- Open Devices and Printers
- Add a Printer
- The printer I want isn’t listed
- Select a shared printer by name
- Type \\muwinprint\printername (if you start typing it, it should auto-populate)
- Then you should be able to check Next and it will may prompt you to install a driver
- After it finishes, it should come up saying it was successful and you should have the option to right-click on it to set it as the default printer.
