If you have forgotten your myMILLIKIN password, or if you have used all of your grace logins and your password has expired, you can use this process to reset your password.

Before You Begin:

Make sure you have access to these pieces of information:

  • Your Millikin ID Number

  • The last four digits of your Social Security Number, Visa Number, or Passport Number

It's best to reset your password on a Computer, instead of on an Tablet or Smartphone.

Step-By-Step Guide:

Make sure to enter the correct information in this process. If the information you enter on any step is not correct, your password will not be reset.

  1. Open a Web Browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Etc.) and visit the site: https://my.millikin.edu

  2. Underneath the password box, click "Having problems logging in?"

  3. If you don't know your username, select "Request your username."  If you know your myMILLIKIN username, but need to change your password, select "Reset your password." (pictured)

  4. Read the instructions on this page and click "Cool, let's get started."

  5. Select your relationship with Millikin.

  6. Enter your Millikin ID number.

  7. Enter the family name (typically your last name) that we have on file.

If you have changed your last name since you were associated with Millikin, but have not updated your records with our Alumni office, your old name is probably still on our records.

If you have a hyphenated last name on file with us, you must enter the entire hyphenated name.

  1. Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, passport number, or visa number.

  2. Select an address from the box that you have been associated with in the past.

Note that this is not always your current address.

Any address we have previously had on file for you can appear in this list, but only one of your addresses will ever appear at the same time.

  1.  You will see a phrase with several random words.  Read the instructions, and enter the word it requests.  For example, in this screenshot, the instructions ask for the second word, so the correct answer is "students."  They may ask for the fifth word, or the first word, or any word in that phrase.

  2. At this point, if you have entered the correct information, you will get the information you requested.

    1. If you selected "Request your username," you will receive the username you can use for myMILLIKIN.  You will also have the option of resetting your password.

    2. If you selected "Reset your password," you will be prompted to enter a new password for myMILLIKIN.

If you receive an error message at this point, please retry the process and make sure that the information you've entered is correct.
