Scovill 207 has a different media configuration compared to other classrooms on campus. To display content on the monitors in the room, please follow the steps below.
Step-by-step guide
- Using NEC remote turn on monitors at the front of the classroom
- Log into the teacher station PC
- To show content touch the show content button on the touch screen device at the teacher station
- If content does not display and a message appears on the touch screen about resolution press the Windows button and P on the PC keyboard and select duplicate from the pop up menu.
- PC content is now displayed
This room is also equipped with the HoverCam Solo 8 document camera. To display the image from this camera follow the steps above to display content on the monitors and on the PC open the Flex 10 program on the desktop of the PC.
Polycom recording system
The Polycom system in 207 has three different recording presets ready to use. The HDX (device in Scovill 207) now has three Favorites to match up with the RSS. To access these options first touch the favorites button on the touch panel.
1. Participants - No Recording: Does not start recording. Allows distance learners - 1010@millikin.edu Requires manual recording start from RMX console. Requires username and password to view content. Username: mumba Password:

2. No Participants-Record Only: Starts the recording immediately. Main use case will be for anyone needing to record in that room. Does not allow distance learners (Lync/OCS calls). No password required to view content.
3. Participants - Record Immediately: Starts the recording immediately. Allows distance learners - 1030@millikin.edu Requires username and password to view content. Username: mumba Password: scovill207
