Step-by-step guide
How To Use Classroom Technology
Most classrooms use a Extron Electronics controller unit to operate most of the classroom A/V technology. These controllers have buttons on them that allow you to do the following.
- Turn projector or display on and off
- Change inputs between PC, Laptop, DVD, VCR, Doc Cam, etc.
- Control volume
- Mute audio and video
- Raise and lower screen (in classrooms equipped with electric screens)
For classrooms on campus that have a display such as a projector or monitor, but do not have the Extron Electronics controller available, a remote will be present to turn on display and select the source needed.
