How To Do Validation

Validation Instructions

Every semester every student must Validate.  Validation allows students to update contact information that might have changed and confirms their return to the Millikin. Follow the steps below to Validate.

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Go into your MyMillikin (Student Portal) and log in with your Millikin username and password.

  2. Click on the MU Online icon found in Fast Access on the right-hand side of your page

  3. Validation can be found under the personal Information Tab

  4. Click on Validation

    1. Address

      1. Enter your Permanent Address

      2. CLICK SUBMIT

      3. Review your School Address (should be auto populated)

      4. Select ADD or Address is Correct

    2. Email (Millikin and Personal)

      1. Select ADD or Email is Correct

      2. CLICK SUBMIT

    3. Password Reset (Non Millikin email)

      1. Must ADD!

      2. Continue

    4. Emergency Contact Information

      1. Choose a relationship for your emergency contact (this is required)

      2. Must have one contact entered! (Mother, Father or Guardian)

      3. Continue

    5. Tax Form Information (W2 info if working on Campus)

      1. Continue

    6. Financial Responsibilities

      1. Authorize

    7. Consumer Information Notice

      1. Continue

    8. Verification

      1. Yes – Must check Box! – MAKE SURE “YES” BOX IS CHECKED

      2. CLICK VALIDATION

    9. Validation Complete
